To those who are struggling, it will be a reminder that hope is a phone call away.

To those in the midst of a darkness they can’t control,
it will remind them there is light ahead.

And to those who need the reminder to pause; and continue;
that’s woven in the design, too.

But what we Hope for most,
is that this art will also serve as a constant reminder to individuals who AREN’T currently struggling, to reach out to those who might be…

…to call the friend who may have a strong mask on,
but who is crumbling on the inside.

…to connect with those who have withdrawn,
who aren’t quite themselves.

…to text a quick hello to those we haven’t talked to recently,
just to check in.

Because as much as we want people to see this and know where to find hope and help in the dark times, we also wish for it to be a continual reminder that we, as a community, have to reach INTO the darkness - to connect, to help, to listen, and to shine hope to all.
