Current Funding

  • Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking Act Grant (STOP Act; ends April 2024) on behalf of Empower Johnson County.
  • Community Prevention Grant funded through the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration, Division of Mental Health and Addiction (ends June 2024).
  • Two Drug Free Johnson County Grants (ending March 2025) for the Assisting Through Loss After Suicide (ATLAS) Team and Recovery Cafe JoCo.
  • Mental Health America Indiana grant, funded through DMHA's Garret Lee Smith Grant, for the Assisting Through Loss After Suicide (ATLAS) Team, ending March 2026.
  • Mental Health America Indiana grant, funded through DMHA's Garret Lee Smith Grant, for the two Suicide Loss Support Groups, ending March 2026
  • An Indiana Department of Health IN CARES ECHO Grant focused on recovery supports and overdose prevention, ending August 2026.
  • A Drug Free Communities Support Program Grant (DFC; ends September 2026) on behalf of Empower Johnson County.
  • In the past five years (since 2019), Upstream has also been awarded a Mental Health  Awareness Training SAMHSA Grant, an IN CARES ECHO State Department of Health Grant, multiple DFJC Grants, a Johnson County Community Foundation Grant, and a grant from the Duke Energy Foundation.
  • Upstream accepts all donations that follow our Gift Acceptance Policy - donations can be made online (here), or by mailing a check to our office (3209 W Smith Valley Rd., Suite 250, Greenwood, IN 46142).
