Find Your Rock - Memory Edition
One of the early things people "knew" Upstream for was our rock decorating sessions - with the challenge to create a beautiful rock and then place it somewhere out in the community to be found.
As we were starting to build our ideas for the various spaces around Upstream's new property, it's only appropriate that we take that initial kernel of uplifting rocks and morph it into something beautiful and healing!
We're planning to install a CALM Park Bench, flowers, and build a Memory Rock Wall (using the inspiration above!), with rocks purchased and decorated by the community in memory or honor of a loved one. We're encouraging individuals to decorate one side (if they wish) to help us produce a colorful display, while the other side will stay plain in memory of all those we’ve lost.
